Girls weekend in Napa Valley!

I am so lucky that my parents drove down from Wisconsin to spend the week with me in Kansas City while I was there for work. It was great to see them and spend time together.
After my work meeting was over, I traveled back to San Fran to meet up with Kim, Stefanie, and Bridget for our annual girls weekend! Stefanie traveled from WI - even though she had flight delays she finally made it to join a great trip and her first time to California! Bridget traveled in from Denver for her first visit to San Fran area too. And Kim was a great host - she helped us visit the beautiful wineries in Napa. We had a blast enjoying the yummy food and wine in the valley but mostly spending time together and catching up. We of course stayed at the Embassy Suites - our usual hangout! Great hotel! And we walked into town for dinner. Then Saturday we visited some amazing wineries and enjoyed all types of wine. We even played baggo at one of the vineyards. We got a great tour of the Mumms winery and learned all the steps required to make wine. Really interesting! Then we finished the day with the Napa Wine Train- so fun! We had dinner on the train as we cruised through the vineyards of Napa. We met great people and of course enjoyed yummy wine!
Sunday we ended back into San Fran... Got to do some more biking in the city. Love biking in SF. We explored the Golden Gate Park and other parts of the city. Loved the ice cream and cable car ride. And finished the weekend with a Thai massage - yep in SF. What a great trip! Loved seeing everyone and spending time with great college friends! Can't wait until next year!
