Great family visit in Asia!

I was so lucky! My brother Brian and sister in law Lisa came to visit me in Singapore and travel to Indonesia . My first family visitors. Loved having them here and showing them where I live and my life here in Asia. I already miss them. Hope to have them back soon! Thanks to Judy and Paul and my sister Jennifer for watching the kids so Brian and Lisa could come and spend time with me.

We did some touring of Singapore - river cruise, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, Chinatown, and enjoyed the famous Chinese dumplings. Then we took the ferry over to Bintan, Indonesia and enjoyed the relaxing time on the beach. We spent time at the pool, beach, spa, and even a bike ride in the hot weather. Good times! Celebrating birthdays in Abu Dhabi...

Had a great long weekend with friends in Abu Dhabi...no need to worry about the travel warnings. Very safe in UAE. it was fun to spend time enjoying the pool and Arabian Sea and the desert. But it of course was HOT. Around 40 to 44 C or 110 F. That is hot...

But we spent our time in the pool, sea or AirCon. We enjoyed a desert safari which is where we rode jeeps through the sand dunes and the see some camels and enjoy a great Arabic BBQ for dinner. We also enjoyed a cruise through the sea with Captain Tony. Beautiful sea with really warm water - around 92 F. Got to try paddle boarding. Getting ready for Hawaii. Mike joined from USA and got to ring in our birthdays together. Here are some pictures from the fun weekend!
