A weekend in Bali...

Bali is always a favorite of mine... And it was a great last stop for Bridget and JR on their Asian trip. I am so sad to have them leave! Had such a wonderful time with them...Brian joined us too for his first visit to Bali. We went snorkeling and saw amazing coral and fish. The boat ride was crazy to get out to the coral but worth it. We also stayed at the Conrad Bali and it was incredible. We had our own pool access from our room. The resort had a beautiful beach too. So lucky to end the great visit. I am truly blessed to have wonderful friends!
Here are some pictures from the fun weekend:

A weekend cruising in the Halong Bay

Had another amazing weekend with Bridget and JR. Brian and Mary joined us too. We went to Vietnam for the weekend and spent the weekend on the Halong Bay on a junk boat. It was awesome! The ship had another group of Americans and  us. We enjoyed the beautiful Halong Bay. Hiked an island, swam in the Bay as much as possible, enjoyed visiting the floating village, hiked through a cave, kayaked to a beach, and enjoyed UNO on the sun deck. Such a great trip! The people and food were wonderful and also the views. Vietnam continues to be a favorite. Here are some pictures from the trip:

Bridget and JR's visit to Singapore!

AtI always enjoy visitors - hint! And this month I have two visitors Brian and Lisa and now Bridget and JR - my good friends from MSOE. They made the journey from Denver to see me! The first stop was Singapore. We had a great weekend touring and enjoying the city. Of course we loved the Chinese Dumplings. We visited the beautiful Gardens by the Bay, Top of Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Cable Car and had to spend a day at the new waterpark. So fun! We had to Vietnam this weekend for a fun cruise thought the Halong Bay. This week Bridget and JR enjoyed Phuket- cant wait to hear about it (I sadly had to work!)

Great family visit in Asia!

I was so lucky! My brother Brian and sister in law Lisa came to visit me in Singapore and travel to Indonesia . My first family visitors. Loved having them here and showing them where I live and my life here in Asia. I already miss them. Hope to have them back soon! Thanks to Judy and Paul and my sister Jennifer for watching the kids so Brian and Lisa could come and spend time with me.
We did some touring of Singapore - river cruise, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, Chinatown, and enjoyed the famous Chinese dumplings. Then we took the ferry over to Bintan, Indonesia and enjoyed the relaxing time on the beach. We spent time at the pool, beach, spa, and even a bike ride in the hot weather. Good times! Here are some pictures! And thanks again to Bri and Lisa for the amazing visit!
