Skiing Mt Hood with Bri...

After a week in Moline for work, I stopped in Portland on the way back to Singapore to meet up with my brother Brian for a quick ski trip at Mt Hood. And it is beautiful there! Amazing! Hope to go back! We had a great time! Always fun with my brother! Skiing in April is always great cause it is warmer but we also had a foot of fresh powder! Love it! Here are some pictures from the trip!

A week in Hawaii...

This spring break we spent a week in Hawaii at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu. Wonderful! My parents, Brian and Lisa and the kids, Big Guy and Kristin, the Walkers including my buddy Evan all met to have a great vacation! Hawaii is always a favorite for me so it was exciting to have the family and great friends join us for the vacation. We enjoyed a hike of beautiful Diamond Head - perfect views of the island. Easter Sunday included Mass, beach day, and dinner at the Luau. Perfect way to spend the holiday. We also enjoyed a visit to Pearl Harbor to reflect on those who have and who still do serve our great country. This included a tour of the USS Missouri battleship - where the Japanese surrendered. Most of our days included relaxing time on the beach, lagoon, or pool. We cooked out and enjoyed some time together. Here are some pictures from the great trip: can't wait for Hawaii 2014 on the Big Island. There are more islands to see...

A weekend being a proud Aunt...

During a work trip to Moline, I was fortunate to get to spend some great time with friends and family! On the way in, I got to spend some time in MSP with my Everest hiking peeps and family including Mike, Mitch, Cindy, Lena, Kim, Mary, Garry, Tiffany, Cody!
Thanks to Cindy for hosting the great weekend - we visited bars, played UNO, laughed, and talked about the great Nepal trek. And Lena traveled up from IL too! So miss her in Singapore! And Kim was also in town visiting friends so got to spend time with her as well!
My aunt Mary and uncle Garry along with Tiffany and Cody joined us for lunch- so love spending time with the family!
So lucky!
Then I went to Moline for work where my Mom and Dad joined me for some time together. After the work week, we traveled to Wisconsin for the highlight of the trip - watching my nephew Nicholas become an Eagle Scout! Wow what an achievement! So proud of him and so thankful I got to be there for it. He is just a great kid! His speech was amazing. Looking forward to being a part of the continued upcoming successes he has...
And almost the whole family was there so got to spend time with all of them before heading back to Singapore.
