Life in America!

Well it's been an exciting month and half back in USA! Great to see my family and friends again. And also love my new job in Deere. Still learning a lot and traveling globally but really enjoy it. Everyone talks about how hard it is to repartitate - come home. I agree it has been hard but feel very fortunate how supportive my family, friends, and co workers have been. Thank you!
Some updates from my side...
Hay and Forage business is fun...
Kansas City is awesome! Love it so far. People are great! Lots to do including hiking, Vietnamese restaurant is yummy, and the farmers market sells coconuts!
I have been eating a lot of American food - not good.
I bought a townhome in Winter Park, Colorado! Let me know when we are going skiing :)
I bought a new car - Subaru Crosstrek for the mountians :)
I bought a lot of new unnecessary items at Target haha
Got to hang out with my friends in America for the first time in a while and danced the night away at a lovely wedding (thanks John and Sara)...
And as of this morning, I just got a condo in Kansas City under contract. Super excited. Come visit!

So that is the latest...

Hope to see you all soon!

Saying good bye...

This week was an emotional but lovely week. I had the opportunity to celebrate with several of my friends and co workers. Thursday the office had a nice lunch to wish me well - I got a lovely painting of my favorite place in Singapore Gardens by the Bay. Then Friday we had a nice gathering at the marina with friends. It was so great to say good bye with the Singapore water behind us. The region 1 team created an amazing photo book of all the pictures and memories of my three years in Singapore. What a great night. Then for my last day we celebrated at the Marina Bay Sands pool. What a view of the city and celebrating with great friends!
Oh how I miss living in Singapore but excited about the next phase in my life.
This morning I boarded the one way flight to Kansas City - my new home!
Thanks to all my family and friends for all the amazing support over the last three years and for all the good times!

JD Asia OF Team

I have been so lucky... Singapore experience has been incredible. Mostly due to the people I have met. Especially my team in JD Asia. Veroncia, Ching Yi, and Cristina are awesome! I am going to miss them so much.

The Frozen Tundra Chalet...

So I have talked about it a lot... About a year ago I decided to make it happen! It took a while but I think I found the perfect place. I am now waiting for the closing and final paperwork and then it's mine :)
It's in Winter Park, Colorado and intended for good times - hiking, skiing, and family and friends gathering. So I am expecting visitors!
Bridget and JR, being the great friends they, joined me for the weekend to stay at the place and "scope" it out. We had a blast. Snow Shoeing in the Rocky National Park as well as hiking in the snow- yep it's snowed even though it was almost May.
Now just waiting to finalize everything but hopefully no issues :)

Johnson Family Vacation in Puerto Rico

Had a blast spending the week with the Johnson family in San Juan, Puerto Rico. PR is always lovely but so fun with the family especially knowing I am heading back to the USA soon. We enjoyed time at the beach, pool, and shopping in Old San Juan. Did some walking through the fun streets and castles in Old San Juan. Also tackled some zip lining, hiking, and off roading in the rain forest of Puerto Rico. Just amazing! I can't wait for next year. Here are some pictures!
